May 6th 1682: Louis XIV leaves Saint-Germain-en-Laye and moves permanently to Versailles which officially becomes the King of France’s residence.
The King moves into an unfinished place where there is lots of work going on.
The time has come to thing about the interior and exterior design.
For this reason the best decorators of the time have been summoned – you are one of them.
Your goal: To win the coveted title of the Kings cabinet designer showing the King your capacity to offer him a varied and extensive collection.
But be careful because you are not the only one competing for this distinctive honour …
